Norton 2009 TrialReset v3.3A will reset the trial period (generally to 90 days) every time you start your computer.
Installation:
1. Delete and PURGE your Recycle Bin of all the known Trial Reset versions prior to this version.
2. If your Norton has expired and still installed, then do the following:
a) Start Norton 2009 TrialReset to check if your Norton was blacklisted.
b) Uninstall Norton and restart the computer. Norton Removal Tool v2009.0.5.26 is included if you want to use it also.
c) Run Norton 2009 TrialReset and purge Norton.
d) Install Norton. Then turn Off ‘Norton Product Tamper Protection’.
Note: Dont forget to hide Norton 2009 TrialReset (USB flash drive works) before installing NOrton)
3. Run LiveUpdate until there are no more updates. (Restart the computer if required.)
4. Do a Comprehensive / Full System Scan with your Norton (remove all files and folders in the “Scan Exclusions” and “Signature Exclusions”) and restart the computer.
5. If your Norton has expired, then REPEAT Step 1-4.
6. If your Norton has not expired, then Uninstall Norton, restart your computer, and install the latest trial version of the Norton again.
7. Install Norton 2009 TrialReset and follow the instructions. (if necessary install TrialReset in Safe Mode [F8].
8. When you reboot, Norton could be red, but in a few seconds it should turn green and work normally.
Notes:
If you restarted your system and Norton expired, then run ‘NTR Switch’ and follow the instructions.
For users who are constantly getting blacklisted/expired, do installation (Approved Method). Only install the NTR in Windows Safe Mode (F8) to reset the trial date then immediately uninstall it.
Recommended ‘NTR Switch’ settings {click [Read Me] to get ‘NTR Switch’ / it will be on your desktop}:
PROTECTED (always use this setting; and when you want to reset the trial date in Windows Safe Mode)
ENABLE + SILENT (use once a week to refresh NTR; when Norton is blacklisted; do not run a Scan while in this mode.)
ENABLE + ACTIVE (when Norton expired but not blacklisted; only to reset the trial date without going into Safe Mode and risk getting blacklisted again; do not run a Scan while in this mode.)
You can add the IP addresses of the Symantec activation server to your HOSTS file (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC):

After you use the Norton 2009 TrialReset, take steps so Norton doesn’t scan it and blacklist your computer in the future. (Examples: delete the installer, Exclusion list, stoer on USB drive, encrypt it in a Rar or Zip file…)

To uninstall Norton 2009 TrialReset, just click the Uninstall.
IF you want to uninstall the NTR, just click the Uninstall. Make sure that you uninstall the NTR before you uninstall Norton. (It would be best if you uninstall the NTR in Safe Mode.)
If you have problems running Norton 2009 TrialReset, disable Norton and run Norton 2009 TrialReset from a USB flash drive.
If you restarted your system and Norton expired because it was blacklisted again, then just restart your system. It should reinitialize Norton at the next reboot.
For users who are constantly getting blacklisted, just run Norton 2009 TrialReset again, but don’t install or uninstall it. Just follow the instructions.
